Assessing the IUCN Red List status of species is necessary to identify species with a high extinction risk and develop conservation strategies for these species. Red List assessmetns are a central objective of TrIBiCo. Another important method is the spatial prioritization of Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA). This method allows to identify regions with central importance for the conservation of biodiversity. The interactive map below provides an overview of some of our Red List and KBA projects.
